You have completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training in India from the specific yoga retreat. And since the retreat is registered with Yoga Alliance, USA, you don’t need to register again.

... You have completed the 200 hour training but the yoga retreat from where you did the course is not registered with Yoga Alliance, USA. As such you will receive the certificate but you cannot register with Yoga Alliance.
You have no previous training in yoga but want to enrich your knowledge in this field. You can get enrolled in this course but you will receive a regular certificate. You cannot register with Yoga Alliance, USA.
Most of the yoga retreats have a strict regime and a set of guidelines that you need to stick to. If you thought that you can break the rules or can go out while your 300 hour yoga teacher training in India is still on and party the night away - then you are mistaken. You cannot do this. For the entire duration of the training, you have to follow the lifestyle of the yoga retreat.
