Head to the Little Havana district of Miami and you will find something called Viernes Culturales, or Cultural Fridays. On the last Friday of each month from 6.30pm til late, the Calle Ocho in Little Havana opens its doors to visitors for free. Here you can see free open-air concerts, and watch sculptors, musicians and artists at work, as well as take a guided tour of Little Havana.

Arch Creek Park and Museum once formed part of an important Indian trail. The Park centres around a beautiful limestone bridge and is home to a museum and nature centre that exhibits artefacts left by native people as they passed over the arched bridge. Our guide to free things to see and do in Miami was written by Bonny Kominek, a professional tour guide. They recommend checking the Octopus Travel website for the latest Miami hotels and deals all year round.
