In order to get enrolled in a yoga teacher training school, it is not necessary to have in-depth knowledge about the different asanas. You can join the training school as a beginner and then slowly master the different asanas through the different training programs. The certified instructors at the yoga teacher training school will teach you everything related to yoga. From the basic concepts to the advanced levels, the trainer will guide you through it all. However, in order to get enrolled in the advanced training courses, you need to complete the courses for beginners and complete the necessary practice hours. For example, in order to get enrolled in the 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Vinyasa Yin & Meditation), you have to complete the 100 hours and 200 hours training programs. Unless you complete these trainings, you cannot take admission. You need to clear your concepts and gather the necessary information before you book yourself for the advanced courses.

Since these training programs are spread over a certain number of days, you need to make sure that you clear all your duties before getting ...
... enrolled in the yoga teacher training school. You cannot step out during the training. You have to spend your entire time in the yoga retreat mastering the different asanas. All your days in the retreat will be packed with some activity or the other. When you are not practicing the different asanas, you will either have to undergo meditation or breathing exercises. You can spend time in the library reading books on yoga and holistic well-being as well. In short, you have to ensure that you are making the most of your time that you are spending in the retreat. You cannot while away you time in a lazy manner. This will not be encouraged or entertained at the yoga retreat.

Find out which are the leading yoga retreats in India that are offering these courses. Collect their contact details and speak with the staff to get answers to your queries. You can also drop them an email with your questions and they will revert with the required information. It is best to compare the training schools before you shortlist the one that best fits your need. Take necessary clothing with you and attend the classes with an open mind. Inhibitions and pre-conceived notions often affect our learning. Don’t let these things affect you as well.
