Havelock Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the A & N Islands, known for its stunning beaches,m clear waters, & lush greenery. It is a haven for water sports enthusiasts, offering activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving & kayaking.

Its name was changed on December 30,2018 when PM Narendra Modi visited the islands & made an announcement to rename it as Swaraj Dweep.

Swaraj Dweep is one of the most famous places in A & N Islands which consists of the most beautiful places in the world. The sandy beaches & crystal clear water of the ocean leaves an amazement for viewers & visitors.

Kalapathar Beach is another beautiful & less crowded beach on Havelock Island, located at a short distance from Radhanagar Beach. The beach is known for its stunning black rocks (hence the name “Kalapathar”, which means black rock in Hindi) & clear blue waters.

c.Elephant Beach

Elephant Beach is another popular destination on Havelock Island, known for its vibrant coral reefs & diverse marine life. Visitors can take a boat or trek through the jungle to reach the beach, where they can enjoy activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving & kayaking.

d.Govind Nagar Beach

Govind Nagar Beach is one of the wonderful beaches in Swaraj Dweep yet it’s a secluded spot among these islands where only few tourists used to visit. There are several resorts along Govind Nagar Beach which could be easily affordable under your budget. The beach is filled with crystal clear water, pristine white sands.
