We all like to talk, most of us do anyway. Like most things in life, we're charged to do most of the things we like. Talking on our landlines can be a costly practice, but competition between service providers has never been fiercer meaning that there are some decent deals about.

As with any sort of bill, it is important to shop around for the best possible deal on the market. Telephone bills are exactly the same and there are plenty of bargains out there to be had by the eagle-eyed consumer. It has also become more and more common to get many of your services from the same company, which makes things a little easier for the customer. Let's take a quick look at one of these companies that offer certain services as part of their inclusive deals.

The Sky's The Limit

Sky offer a lot more than just TV. The most competitive Sky packages include TV, phone and broadband at quite a reasonable price. Their phone service, Sky Talk often comes free as an extra add-on when someone signs up for TV and broadband with Sky. Of course it's not entirely free, strictly speaking. You do have to pay for the other services so ...
... in effect the Sky Talk charges are scaled down to fit in with the offer prices. But to the customer, it comes across as free when the jargon presented to the consumer proclaims that the deal includes free evening and weekend calls as well as many other benefits. Its a similar sort of system to the Sky Broadband that they have on offer, where the consumer gets a fast connection speed as well as unlimited downloads at no extra charge.

It's Your Package

Ultimately the choice of how you put together your Sky package is up to you. There isn't a fixed TV service you have to have in order to save some money, for example. The package can be tailor-made by the customer so they can either have a standard Sky box, calls and standard broadband speeds. Or they could pay a bit more but still combine the three services by getting Sky + HD, calls and super fast broadband. Even if you did go for the more premium package you would still make some sort of saving just for signing up to all three services. By going for the better products that are available you would undoubtedly gain a better level of entertainment too. Of course Sky + is better than regular Sky television and faster connection speeds are better than slower ones, but you knew that already, right.

Whichever package you go for, there are a number of deals available to the customer, be it with Sky or without Sky. Virgin Media also offer a similar sort of deal but to their own specification. They also do a deal offering TV, phone and internet. It is also important to remember that while it may be easier to get all of your services from one place that may not always be the cheapest option. Other companies who focus solely on providing telephone on its own are probably the undisputed champions of cheap phone calls because they focus all of their attention on that one area and are more dedicated to keeping phone bills low for their customers.
