Calphalon One Infused Anodized 5-quart Dutch Oven
I love cooking soups and stews so when I found the Infused Anodized 5-Quart Dutch Oven by Calphalon One, it was an eye-opener for me in terms of what great cooking equipment one can get out there to make the perfect stew! I have found that this is really good to use when I also make roasts and other things that usually take hours to marinate. Now, I can simply put all the ingredients together and it tastes just the same, with the same tenderness, and cooked at half the time!
Made with heavy gauge aluminum, the material of this particular Dutch oven is very conductive which means that I can cook food quickly, especially with the heat traveling quickly and evenly throughout the pot. Controlling the way I want my food to turn out has never been easier. With the Calphalon One Dutch oven, I can control the browning and the searing of my roasts perfectly.
Cleaning up this product has never been a problem. Since it is light and the materials only need soapy water and a cloth, washing up even after a roast has been cooked in it has been almost effortless. This is mainly due to the infused anodized surface that apparently ...
... releases food easily during and after cooking. Because of this feature, I no longer have to suffer the stickiness of food to the pot's surface. I have found that this Dutch oven is virtually scratch proof, but I have only used plastic and wooden utensils on it, which have been adequate enough in helping me cook my best recipes.
Lighter in weight when compared to other Dutch ovens that I have experienced cooking with, the Calphalon One has been terrific when it comes to cooking food and lugging it around the kitchen and the dining room. Since it is light, it is easy to handle in the sink while washing as well. I would definitely recommend this Calphalon One product to all my friends and family. In fact, I'm really thinking that this Dutch oven would make a perfect gift to those close to me whom I know love to cook for Christmas!
