It is great to think positively, but to be successful at multilevel marketing you must act on those positive thoughts. You may have lofty goals and dreams, but if you do not put your determination, energy and enthusiasm to work on those ideas they will not bring you much success with your home based business.

You can still see the same things that you have always seen, but look deeper and do not miss the possibilities in the ordinary things. Opportunities are everywhere, and if you focus on being observant you will see them. When you see new opportunities, act on them to create the results that will help you climb to new heights.

When you want your business to have long-term success and generate residual money every month, focus on being a leader and coach for your downline, and encourage them to imitate you. Remember that somebody helped you in your first year and explained how to succeed with the mlm opportunity.

Build an enthusiastic team and help them to focus on wealth creation. Give them confidence by recognizing their accomplishments and acknowledging their efforts. To keep your group motivated, be ...
... generous, considerate and kind. Compliment them often and they will become loyal team members. Let them know how much you value their friendship as well as their selling, recruitment and prospecting efforts. Tell them how grateful you are for them. Give them surprise gifts, send thank you emails or cards, and phone them. Have faith in them and truly believe that they can succeed. When they feel important and know that you really expect them to do well, they will live up to your expectations.

Develop relationships with your downline, and keep those relationships alive and flourishing to build loyalty in your group. Give them your undivided attention. Do not just tell them things without listening to their feedback - really listening. They will know if your mind is not completely focused on them, and their enthusiasm will decrease accordingly. Be totally there with your body, mind and spirit. Do not be phony. If you are not sincere, they will know it even when you communicate with them by phone.

It is easy to get into the habit of taking family, friends or co-workers for granted. When your relationships are new, it seems easy to thank them often and show them how much they mean to you. However, as time goes by people tend to become lax and forgetful. When you neglect to show your appreciation and begin taking others for granted, their enthusiasm diminishes. One of the best solutions for breaking a bad habit is to over correct the problem. You can never praise somebody too much. Exaggeration of positive actions will eventually create a new affirmative habit.

Set a good example for your group. As your leadership abilities grow your business will grow proportionately, and you will have one of the best companies in the industry. Your excellent habits will expand past your business to other parts of your life as well, and you will make a positive difference in the lives of those you care for.
