It isn’t difficult to win at the casino. I see folks winning all the time. Most people cannot leave when they are winning. They always appear to believe that they will win more.

Some people honestly feel that if they continue to play, they will win. They believe that a physical law forbids them from losing every bet. These are the same people that frequently believe they are being duped by the casino since they can’t seem to stop betting and losing. Every night, I see folks who can’t hit the wide side of a barn, and they always blame me.

Casinos continue to operate because no one wins but the house. Yes, you can win, but you will not keep it. You will eventually return that money and sit there until you have lost everything, and then some. It’s the one guaranteed thing in the industry.

There are people out there who, for a while, appear to be extremely fortunate. They will almost always win, making every other player jealous. What a curse this is. When their luck runs out, as it always does, they typically become degenerate gamblers who lose their rent money at the dice table every month. I’ve ...
... seen that happen to a lot of folks.

Play as a source of amusement, but be aware that it can be a costly way to spend an evening. The primary goal should be to have a nice time. When you’re not having fun anymore, leave. If you beat the odds and win, take your winnings home and never gamble again. However, I am confident you will return. They constantly come back, which is why I have a job.
