Bhubaneswar, June 24: Prithviraj Harichandan, Minister of Law, Works and Excise, Govt of Odisha, has assured the people of the opening of Ratna Bhandar.

"The call on opening of Ratna Bhandar will be taken soon. A modality will be prepared on when and how the Ratha Bhandar will be opened. But, it will definitely be opened soon. The preparations are going on at the moment, said Harichandan.

"The state government is active on this regard. The decision will be taken soon and counting of jewellery will also take place," he added.

Earlier, Harichandan took charge of the Law, Works and Excise departments. He said that his priority is to help the three departments serve the people of Odisha better. "A special strategies are being planned for a 100-day period, one-year period as well as a 5-year period," said Harichandan.

He will review the Bhubanswar Court Complex works Monday afternoon with the officers of the Works Department. "Steps have been taken to inaugurate the Court Complex in the first week of August. It feels bad to see the lawyers sitting under the tent, so the department has taken steps to finish the work immediately," asserted Harichandan.
