SES S.A. has syndicated a €3 billion acquisition financing package to support its acquisition of Intelsat S.A. This package includes a €2.1 billion bridge facility and a US$1 billion term loan, initially underwritten by Deutsche Bank AG and Morgan Stanley. The bridge facility, now successfully syndicated with high levels of commitment from international banks, offers SES financing flexibility for bond issuance. Additionally, the term loan, which was increased due to strong bank response, provides long-term financing over five years. SES also extended its €1.2 billion revolving credit facility, ensuring liquidity up to June 2028 with support from 19 banks.

The bridge facility has a 12-month tenor, extendable twice by six months, while the term loan offers a five-year amortizing tenor. This diversified funding approach allows SES to secure attractive rates and maintain financial flexibility for deleveraging.
