You are perhaps wondering if it is safe enough for your children to carry that much jewellery at an early age. Well, not all kids can get used to wearing jewels. Most of them especially the toddlers don't find it convenient for them to have jewellery hanging around their neck and their wrists, or even those earrings stuck on their ears. Other than looking for children's jewellery that looks good on your child, you should also decide to find jewels which are safe enough for them to bear.

It is critical that you get a bit extra careful in choosing the type of jewellery that you'll have your kids carry, especially the young ones given that there are different types of jewellery available for people to take benefit of nowadays. Babies, toddlers as well as young children can find it a little irritating on their part to wear jewellery because of their sensitive skin. Your child's skin is very sensitive and more often they are prone to allergies. You should know which types of metal can cause allergy to your child's skin, like for example nickel if your child's skin is reactive to metals. Nickel may cause mild allergy when in ...
... close contact with those whose skin is severely reactant to this metal. If you aren't sure that your child is allergic to this metal or not, you may allow the child to carry such jewellery. You must have him/her avoid wearing such jewellery in case you notice that your child's skin is reactant to nickel.

There are other metals aside from nickel that could cause allergic reactions to your child's sensitive skin. Sometimes not only purely made nickel jewellery may cause such reactions but those which are classified to have a larger percentage of other metals plus a large percentage of nickel. It should be at least 0.05 percent as per European standard regarding nickel content for an item. Given that nickel is thought to be the famous of all in relation to causing allergies, it is crucial for you to check out nickel free children's jewellery. Search for jewellery that is made from other metals such as Niobium, sterling silver which is composed of copper alloy and silver only or jewellery made out of plastic.
