Adcendo Extends Series A Financing To €98m
Adcendo ApS, a biotech company specializing in revolutionary antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for treating cancers with high unmet medical needs, has successfully completed a second Series A extension financing round, raising a total of 98M EUR. This latest 16M EUR funding was led by Dawn Biopharma, a KKR-controlled platform, with contributions from current investors Novo Holdings, Ysios Capital, RA Capital Management, HealthCap, Gilde Healthcare, and Pontifax Venture Capital. Iyona Rajkomar, Managing Partner at Dawn Biopharma, will be joining the Adcendo Board of Directors as part of the investment.
Adcendo's focus is on advancing its first-in-class ADC pipeline assets and expanding the development strategy for its lead uPARAP program in soft tissue sarcoma and other mesenchymal cancers. The funding will also support the development of additional discovery-stage ADC pipeline assets towards Development Candidate Nomination and beyond.
