Honeynaps Secures $11.6m Series B, Tops Ai Sleep Tech

HoneyNaps, a leading company in South Korea specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) sleep data analysis, recently announced the successful closure of its series B funding round, raising $11.6 million.

This latest funding round is a significant achievement, surpassing the $3.9 million raised during the series A funding round in 2021. By signing a listing contract with Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. in March 2024, HoneyNaps is on track to become the top-listed company in Sleep Technology (Sleep-Tech) with its innovative AI bio signal model.

Several new investors, including Korea Industrial Bank, Hi Investment Partners, and QUAD Investment Management, participated in this round. Despite a slowdown in venture investment, the series B round closed early due to high demand, with both domestic and foreign investors showing strong interest.

Established in July 2015, HoneyNaps has raised a total of approximately $16.2 million so far, starting with seed funding of around $0.7 million secured through success-share-funding from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2019. This funding round represents the largest amount raised among local Sleep-Tech companies in recent times.
