Star Asia Group Acquires Minacia Co. Ltd, A Top Hotel Firm
Star Asia Group is excited to share that it has finalized a share transfer agreement with Minacia Co., Ltd. on April 26, 2024, to purchase all of Minacia's shares.
1. Purpose of Share Acquisition
Star Asia Group sees great potential in the Japanese hospitality industry and has been actively investing in this sector even before the COVID-19 pandemic. By acquiring Minacia, which operates 39 limited-service hotels with a total of 5,180 rooms in major cities across Japan, we are furthering our strategic goal of investing in a sector with promising growth opportunities. Minacia, with its 30+ years of experience, manages hotels under well-known brands like Wing International and Tenza Hotel, which was launched in 2020. The company has a strong loyalty program and a loyal customer base, making it a valuable addition to our portfolio.
