Husqvarna Group has once again been acknowledged as a 'Climate Leader' by Financial Times, marking the third consecutive year of this prestigious recognition. Among thousands of European companies evaluated, Husqvarna Group proudly holds the 74th spot, showcasing its unwavering commitment to reducing carbon emissions while fostering business growth. In the realm of Swedish companies, Husqvarna Group stands tall as the number one contender in the Personal and Household goods category.

Since 2021, Financial Times and Statista have been compiling the list of "Europe's Climate Leaders," highlighting companies that have made substantial strides in reducing their core emissions intensity between 2017 and 2022. Husqvarna Group's dedication to sustainability is evident in its improved score of 74.9 out of 100, up from last year's 72.6.

Calle Medin, Head of Sustainability at Husqvarna Group, emphasizes the company's collaborative efforts with suppliers and customers to transition towards products that align with a low-carbon economy. The strategic shift from petrol to electricity-powered solutions underscores Husqvarna Group's commitment to reducing emissions, with a goal to electrify two-thirds of its motorized products by 2026. This ambitious target marks a significant leap from the 11% electrification rate in 2015 to the current 43%.
