The question of helpfulness of university exams is disputable. The exams are carried out for both aims: check your knowledge received during the year and see your personal features such as ability to work, think, behave and answer under huge pressure. As a result, you can discover the features that seemed to be impossible for you.

You should keep in mind that exam is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your knowledge and stand out from the general crowd. Except having good knowledge, exams require you ability to think under pressure and manage yourself. Actually, it is very difficult to stay calm during the exam that is why your self-management can become very useful for you while passing the exams.

1. Sometimes, students believe in power of some ordinary things, such as rings, necklaces, coins and so on. You may do the same, trying to imagine that some usual thing you use every day is a symbol of your success. Probably, it will help you.

2. During the exam try to stay calm and focus on your paper and questions in front of you. Start answering with the simplest tasks, they will give you some confidence ...
... and provide with some time for covering tasks that are more complicated. Try to compose your answer as the sequence of facts and use some interesting and important peculiarities in order to support your ideas.

3. Try to divide time given to you proportionally and think of the plan of your answering. It will help to organize your preparation properly and have more time for revision. Do not forget to make necessary notes, as they are very helpful while answering.

4. If you do not know the answer for some question, do not disturb your neighbor, as it may lead to bad results for both of you. Try to be honest and act more wisely.
