La Villa de Betancuria, Vega de Río Palmas and the areas around those two sites were freshly updated within the {project|design|labor|plan|projection|projection of salvation and Improvement of Hiking Paths Netproject in Fuerteventura, created by Fuerteventura's Cabildo and financed by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Areas.

This proposal also brings a positive repercussion on the island's rural areas as it will liven them up, improve the added value of rural areas of the island and promote hiking and natural tourism.
