Have you seen a digital business card yet? If yes, you know what we are talking about. If not then let’s find out more. Unlike the paper business card, the digital business card is not printed on a piece of paper. In fact, this card is not printed at all. You will find all the details in your phone. The digital business card can be accessed through a QR Code. All that you need to do is share the QR code with the rest and ask them to scan it. Once they scan the QR Code they will be taken to a page that has you name, contact details, social media links along with a call-to-action button. Ask them to save all your details in their phone. From the next time onwards when one needs to contact you, they will just check the details saved in the phone. They don’t have to remember where they have stored your business card or spend hours looking for the business card. Everything is available at the click of a button.

The two major biggest drawbacks of a paper business card is that you need paper to print it. This means that nearly thousands of trees are chopped down to make paper so that you can get your business card printed. And next is most people tend to misplace the card. However, with the digital business card there is no such issue. You don’t need any paper to print the card and hence there is no fear that people might misplace your card. Once the details are stored in the phone, it will stay there till someone loses their phone or misplaces it.

Digital business card is eco-friendly and plays an important role in reducing carbon footprint. So, when you use this card, you are doing your bit for the environment, at the same time you are being tech savvy and smart. Covid has shown us how important it is to maintain distance and remain contactless. You can do both with the digital business card.
