1.Cellular Jail

Cellular Jail is one among the rich heritage sites of Port Blair city. Initially construction of Cellular Jail started in 1896 and completed by 1906 building 7 wings of 3-storied with a centered tower used by the guard to survey inmates. With 696 cells altogether derived by its name ‘ Cellular Jail’ by the nature of solitary confinement. This jail was the place of inhuman punishments, mental torments & abuses.The inmates of the jail were either independence activists, political prisoners or the felons who were against British colonial rule. 2.Flag Point

The Flag Point (Tiranga Point) in Port Blair, the capital city of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is another feather decorating the proud head of the islands and its residents. 3. Marina Park

Marina Park and Aquarium also known as Samudrika Marine Park., located at the beach side of Port Blair having a lot to offer for kids to the marine enthusiasts. Also this park has an aquarium which displays a wide variety of endemic marine organisms and habitats. This aquarium houses live marine organisms and habitats. 4.Fisheries Museum

It is a well known tourist attraction and a popular sightseeing place in Andaman Islands. This museum is located adjacent to the Rajiv Gandhi Complex in Port Blair city. It includes installations with coverage of islands’s ecosystem, plants, animals, tribal communities and marine life. Also this museum includes a small aquarium with various collections of fishes, corals & shells exhibiting species of marine life endemic to the islands making it a perfect place for study of marine species.

5.Barren Island is an island located in the Andaman Sea. It is the only confirmed active volcano in South Asia and the only active volcano along a chain of volcanoes from Sumatra to Myanmar.

6.Chatham Saw Mill

Chatham saw mill is the best tourist attraction as its one of the most prehistoric mill from the British time and existing functioning mill for the timber woodworks.
7. Carbyn’s Cove Beach

Carbyn’s Cove Beach lies at the closest of Port Blair city, where tourist used to get relief from their stress. 9. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island was the seat of British administration. This is the island from where the British governed the entire Andaman Islands and had set up a colony on this island. It was previously called Ross Island. The Indian Navy currently manages the island and the island is open to tourist visits. A boat ride is required to reach Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island from the Rajiv Gandhi water sports complex. The island is closed to tourists on Wednesday.

10.Viper Island

Viper Island is near Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, was the site of the jail where the British used to imprison convicts and political prisoners. It has the ruins of a gallows atop a hillock. The jail was abandoned when the Cellular Jail was constructed in 1906.
