Southern Medical University came into existence in the year 1951 and also known as Nanfang Medical University. It became one of the premier medical universities to study MBBS in China. It has approval from the Medical Council of India, (Now replaced by the National Medical Commission), World Health Organization, IMED (International Medical Education Directory), and also few other countries.
