In the world of Biotechnology, there is a massive surge in demands for innovation and discoveries, leading to a surge in jobs in Biotechnology. Clinical laboratory scientists examine several biological specimens and are accountable for testing samples and reporting the results to healthcare professionals. They collaborate in proximity with patients and medical laboratory technicians to diagnose and keep a check on disease and a therapy's effectiveness. They work in medical facilities such as hospitals or public health laboratories and examine and inspect blood, body fluids, tissues, and cells. They send test results to the right staff members, involving physicians, and need familiarity and ease of use when utilizing microscopes, cell counters, and other high-precision lab tools.
Clinical laboratory scientists cross-match blood for transfusions when required and monitor patient outcomes. They conduct differential cell counts and check for abnormal cells to help diagnose conditions encompassing anemia or leukemia.
