The Polymesh Association has introduced a groundbreaking addition to its ecosystem with the launch of Polymesh Private at the Digital Asset Summit 2024. This new version of the public permissioned blockchain, Polymesh, is designed to offer enhanced confidentiality and control to its specialized infrastructure tailored for regulated assets.

Organizations can now benefit from Polymesh Private by setting up private instances of the Polymesh blockchain that meet their specific business needs. This includes the ability to customize parameters like network access, visibility of confidential information, validator node operation permissions, network token allocation, fees, and upgrades. By utilizing advanced cryptographic techniques, the platform ensures on-chain data confidentiality that is only accessible to authorized parties. Additionally, the embedded compliance rules can easily adapt to changing regulatory frameworks, making it simple for users to remain compliant.

A key milestone, Polymesh Private is the first private blockchain to seamlessly integrate with public blockchain infrastructure. This unique feature ...

This interoperability ensures a seamless transition for users while maximizing the benefits of both environments.

Graeme Moore, Head of Tokenization at the Polymesh Association, expressed excitement about this development, highlighting the platform's ability to meet the needs of banks and large financial institutions. He noted that a significant portion of real-world asset tokenization still occurs on private blockchains, and Polymesh Private addresses this demand by providing a tailored solution for users.
