Pebble, a Web3 gaming platform, has unveiled the beta launch of its upcoming free-to-play mobile game, Pebble City, developed by NHN Corporation's NHN Gaming division. Built on Sui, a layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform, Pebble City aims to integrate web2 and web3 seamlessly, offering players an immersive gaming experience. The platform's beta, scheduled for Tuesday, March 19, will introduce features like NFT collection and trading, supported by Sui's Kiosk feature, providing a frictionless web3 experience with minimal gas fees and swift transactions. Sui Network's attributes, including low fees, fast transactions, and high scalability, make it ideal for web3 game design, enabling decentralized and secure gaming while facilitating ownership of in-game assets. NHN's partnership with Mysten Labs, the original contributor to Sui Network, underscores their commitment to advancing web3 game development and exploring new use cases for the Sui blockchain.
