ZEVx™, Inc., a global leader in EV mobile charging, unveiled its Mobile Charging Unit (MCU) at the 2024 EV Charging Summit & Expo in Las Vegas from March 20-22. Addressing the lack of charging infrastructure hindering electric vehicle adoption, the ZEVx MCU integrates energy management and remote vehicle charging technologies. This innovation offers on-demand mobile charging using advanced high-density battery packs and ZEVx proprietary solutions. In a recent pilot program, vehicles equipped with ZEVx MCUs successfully provided charging services for fleets, rental cars, and roadside rescue scenarios. Craig Johnston, ZEVx's Vice President of Product Management, emphasized the company's commitment to offering revolutionary charging solutions to address operational challenges faced by fleets and service organizations in areas with inadequate infrastructure.

The ZEVx MCU, adaptable for installation in vehicles, trailers, or trucks, facilitates mobile and stationary charging and Battery Electric Energy Storage (BEES) applications. With up to 480kWh battery capacity and multiple DC Fast Charge output cables, it can simultaneously charge multiple vehicles using NACS and CCS1 charging connectors. The MCU can be recharged through L2 or L3 charge stations and shore power inputs, ensuring versatility and reliability in various charging scenarios.
