You are putting your life and that of the others in danger. Road accidents can be serious and can also lead to death. And if you are one of the lucky few to escape death, you will still be gravely injured. You will be bedridden for days on end. Your daily lifestyle will go for a toss. At the same time, you have to pay a huge hospital bill as well. If you observe carefully, you will see that a single accident has changed the course of your life completely and there is no going back from it.
How to Be Careful While Driving? Tips and Tricks on Safe Driving:
When you step out to drive you need to be careful. You have to make sure that you obey all the traffic rules and never flout them. Your approach has to be correct. ...
... A lot depends on how you approach the subject. If you are adamant and careless then nothing will change. Only when you are responsible and accountable for your actions then only you will be able to drive carefully. Below are the tips and tricks for safe driving:
Every lane has a specific speed limit. Make sure that you stick to the limit. Do not break the limit. If you are in a hurry or have an urgent meeting to attend, make sure that you start early. Leaving the house last minute and driving fast to reach the destination is no way to drive.
Always use the right signals. If you are going to take a turn, you need to switch on the indicator so that the other vehicles on the road are aware of your next movement. They will make sure that there is a suitable distance between your car and theirs. This will help to avert collisions.
If you are planning to park or reverse the car do not forget to switch on the taillights. The moment you do so you are signalling the other vehicles about your intention.
Follow the traffic lights. You should slow down the car when the light changes from green to yellow and then come to a halt when it turns red. Don’t think that you can drive fast to avoid the red signal. Chances are you will miss it and will end up hitting the car in front.
When you are talking a U-turn make sure that there is proper road instruction for U-turn. If there is a road sign prohibiting the U-turn then you cannot take the turn. You have to go on driving till you come across the sign that permits the turn.
While driving always pay attention to the road sign - is there a sign saying that there is a school ahead and you cannot honk? Make sure that you stick to it. There will be other signs as well like - bump ahead, road construction going on - slow down and so on. As a responsible driver you need to make sure that you follow all these rules. Honking the car unnecessarily is strongly not required. What will you achieve by blaring the horn so loud?
Always park the car in the designated area. Never park the car in the middle of the road or on the side of the road just because you have to buy something from the shop. You are causing inconvenience to the other cars on the road and you simply cannot do this.
Do not give in to road rage. Just because another car surpassed you or simply honked to irritate you, does not mean that you will give in and chase the car. You cannot hurl abuses at other drivers. This is simply not done.
Driving under the influence or alcohol or drugs is a punishable offence. This should be avoided at all cost. Most of the accidents happen under the influence of these two things. It is extremely dangerous to drive when you are not in your normal senses. If you are drunk then stay back at your friend’s place or when you know that you have to drive back home, avoid drinking at all costs. It is for your safety and the well-being of others.
And finally, you cannot overtake another car. This is illegal and can lead to an accident. If you think that the car is front is driving at a lower speed then honk the car so that the other car gives way for you to move ahead.
Following these rules are not that difficult. Make sure that you implement them on a daily basis. Any reliable driving school Brisbane Southside while conducting the driving classes teaches the learners about the importance of following the traffic rules.
