Plus Named 2024 Edison Awards Finalist For Innovative Autonomous Driving Software
Plus, a leading global autonomous driving technology company, has been selected as a finalist in the 2024 Edison Awards, specifically in the Innovation category for innovative services and solutions. The recognition is for their driver-in Level 2++ solution, PlusDrive®. This technology not only facilitates the integration of semi-autonomous features in next-gen vehicles for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1s but also lays the groundwork for fully autonomous vehicles in the future. Shawn Kerrigan, COO, and Co-Founder at Plus expressed gratitude for the acknowledgment, emphasizing the impact of their innovations on driving experiences and collaborations with partners globally to create safer and greener next-gen vehicles.
The Edison Awards, often referred to as the "Oscars of Innovation," honors outstanding innovations worldwide. PlusDrive® is part of Plus's suite of products built on the Open Platform for Autonomy, with the Level 4 autonomous driving software, SuperDrive™, serving as a common base. The recognition follows Plus's notable achievements, including ranking high in FreightWaves FreightTech 25 and receiving awards such as AUVSI XCELLENCE in Innovation, Forbes America’s Best Startup Employers, CES Innovation Award, among others, underscoring its leadership and impact in the autonomous driving technology sector.
