Wirex, a major Web3 money app, has partnered with Gateway.fm, a global multi-chain architecture decentralized blockchain infrastructure node supplier. The partnership uses Gateway.fm's Presto PaaS to scale Wirex's WPay Decentralised Payment Network.

Wirex's decentralized payment network WPay emphasizes self-custody, digital asset flexibility, security, and fast spending. This partnership with Gateway.fm reinforces these benefits. Wirex hopes to improve transaction performance, reduce Ethereum mainnet load, and make the transition between traditional finance and Web3 easier using Presto.

Wirex received a private zkEVM rollup solution from Gateway.fm, improving scalability, cost effectiveness, and off-chain transaction processing. Wirex's card services should improve with Presto's L2 technology, powered by Polygon CDK.
