Hyundai Motor Company To Supply An All-electric Light Commercial Vehicle
Hyundai Motor Company and Iveco Group (EXM: IVG) have officially signed a supply agreement for an all-electric light commercial vehicle, which will bear the IVECO badge and be designated for the European market. This electric vehicle will be built on Hyundai's Global eLCV platform and will be a valuable addition to Iveco Group's electric light commercial vehicle lineup, complementing their renowned IVECO Daily.
The signing ceremony for the supply agreement took place at Hyundai Motor Company's headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Key figures present at the event included Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, Ken Ramírez, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Commercial Vehicle & Hydrogen Business at Hyundai Motor Company, Gerrit Marx, CEO of Iveco Group, and Luca Sra, President, Truck Business Unit, Iveco Group. This collaboration signifies a strategic move to enhance Iveco Group's LCV portfolio with a cutting-edge electric vehicle offering.
