Sidus Space's Cutting-edge 3d Hybrid Satellite 'lizziesat' Ready For Launch
Sidus Space (NASDAQ: SIDU) announces the successful completion of launch processing for LizzieSat™ at the Astrotech Space Operations facility at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The final steps included mating the satellite to the separation system and the launch vehicle adapter, allowing mounting to SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. LizzieSat™, featuring the Sidus FeatherEdge AI platform, is set for launch on the Transporter-10 mission targeted for no earlier than March 2024. The AI platform enables advanced onboard system processing from space-based data sensors, with plans to expand customer bases in defense, agriculture, maritime, and oil and gas post-launch. Sidus Space, led by CEO Carol Craig, sees LizzieSat™ as a paradigm shift, consolidating various data sources into a single on-orbit asset, transforming how industries access and utilize crucial information. The company actively plans to expand the LizzieSat™ constellation, emphasizing its commitment to advancing space exploration and delivering cutting-edge satellite technology solutions beyond 2024.
