FedEx Corp. unveiled "fdx," a data-driven commerce platform, aiming to connect the entire customer journey for businesses. Unique in the logistics industry, FedEx's platform offers end-to-end e-commerce solutions, simplifying demand growth, conversion, fulfillment optimization, and returns streamlining. FedEx President and CEO Raj Subramaniam emphasized the company's digital transformation, leveraging their transportation network's scale. Fdx provides data and insights for improved visibility and strategic logistics decisions across the customer journey. It connects with high-value customers, enhances delivery transparency, and aids in sustainable supply chain decisions. The official launch is planned for fall 2024, with current capabilities including ShopRunner® network connection, estimated delivery updates, real-time shipment visibility, carbon emissions insights, and streamlined returns.
