Boof! There it is. The unmistakable sound of the Barramundi fish jumping out of the water, catching some air before it hits the water again. Yes, this is it. The water ripples, you look up into the clear blue sky and you spot a cloud drifting slowly overhead, casting a cooling shadow on your cold beer. ... of not wasting valuable beer. You reel it in slightly and let it struggle a little. Then gently you reassert your strength and reel in a little more. The play continues for a 10 minutes, this is turning into an excellent Barramundi fishing holiday but it still isn't over till the fat one is in the net. It jumps in the air trying to shake off the hook, you strike just as it lands in the water, easing, pulling and eventually throwing it into your net. Then you wake up. It just a dream....or was it?
There is nothing better for the soul than relaxing in nature, doing what man does best: hunting, contemplating life and supping on some fine cold ones.
