Lenovo and Microsoft have collaborated to introduce Cyber Resiliency as a Service (CRaaS), a subscription-based offering designed to enhance cybersecurity across devices, apps, data, networks, and cloud services. The partnership leverages Microsoft technologies like Azure, Defender, and Sentinel, allowing Lenovo to build advanced security solutions. CRaaS aims to address the challenges of data privacy/security and cybersecurity/ransomware highlighted in Lenovo's global CIO survey.

The comprehensive CRaaS solution simplifies the security ecosystem by integrating the full Microsoft security stack and is managed by Lenovo. It offers a zero-trust approach, automation of security and compliance, and cost reduction through an as-a-service model. Addressing the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks, CRaaS aligns with the Critical Security Controls for Cyber Defense and provides continuous risk assessment, automated updates, dynamic threat intelligence, active incident response, compliance audits, and data backup and recovery services.

Lenovo's participation in the Microsoft Security Copilot Partner Private Preview enhances CRaaS with AI-powered security features, allowing quick threat response and risk assessment. The initiative reflects Lenovo's commitment to customer data protection, complementing its Security by Design practice and ThinkShield security features.

CRaaS is expected to be globally available by April 2024, reinforcing Lenovo's role as a technology powerhouse focused on delivering Smarter Technology for All.
