This renewed partnership, in conjunction with Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and LeapForWord, Making India English Literate, is poised to revolutionize English literacy across several districts in Andhra Pradesh over the next three years.

Expanding Horizons: Impacting Thousands of Lives
Vibha’s impactful English Literacy Program, aimed at fostering foundational English skills among children, is set to unfold across seven districts: ASR, NTR, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore, Tirupati, and Annamayya. With an ambitious vision to equip government teachers with effective English teaching methodologies, this program is slated to make a profound difference in the lives of a staggering 90,000 students enrolled in grades 2 to 5 across 10,935 government schools.

A Comprehensive Approach: Nurturing English Proficiency
Under the renewed MoU, Vibha will work in tandem with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to facilitate an extensive range of initiatives aimed at enhancing English language skills. These initiatives encompass comprehensive teacher training, content sharing, continual support through digital platforms, innovative programs like the Word Power Championship, establishment of school libraries, assessments, and the distribution of essential workbooks for both students and teachers.

A History of Success: Evolution and Expansion
The trajectory of this program’s success is marked by steady growth and impactful milestones. From its inception in 2021, when Vibha and LeapForWord introduced the Foundational English Program in the Paderu division of Visakhapatnam district, to the subsequent expansion in 2022-23, encompassing 11 mandals in Paderu Division and 17 Mandals in the NTR district, the journey has been one of consistent progress.
