I must confess that I was a little worried about visiting Cyprus for a holiday as I had always heard about it being an 18/30 destination. But one day I was searching the web for a singles holidays and come across a good offer, so thought I would give it a go.

Since visiting Cyprus, I have to say I would return to the island of Cyprus over and over again. The resort I visited is called Kyrenia, which is in the Northern Cyprus. I must confess I fell in love with North Cyprus. It is a beautiful natural island and it reminded me of the old med when I was growing up.

I visited Cyprus as a single traveller, but I due to the hotel in Bellapais called Bellapais Monastery Village I was never felt like I was alone. The hotel staff of the Bellapais Monastery Village where friendly and always present to assist me in any requirement I may of had while on my holiday to North Cyprus.

While having my transfer the first thing I noticed about the island of North Cyprus was the beautiful beaches I saw on the way to the hotel. North Cyprus was untouched with beautiful landscape and mountain backdrops everywhere.

I stayed at Bellapais which is a small village in Northern Cyprus. The island has many historical points and I could not stop myself from visiting many of these places. My Bellapais holiday in North Cyprus really gave me the relaxation that I was looking for. The Bellapais Monastery has amazing mountain backdrop with the sea views.

The Bellapais monastery village has a long history. It is located at the foot of the five finger mountain range. I heard many stories about the historical importance of this village. Its monastic surroundings created a spell on me. I was truly in love with this place. I decided to use the Kyrenia car hire services in order to get around and see the rest of the island. The rep from the car hire company in Kyrenia told me exactly where to go and what to see. I would definitely recommend readers to take car rental services in North Cyprus in order to see the whole island, in its full beauty.
