The iconic Dubai Creek Tower structure will boast a record-breaking 110 km of cables, the most extensive use of cables in any single structure, weighing a staggering 18,000 tonnes. These cables would stretch a distance from Dubai to Abu Dhabi when aligned horizontally, according to experts.
The tower has already earned a global record for its foundation, recently completed with over 145 barrette piles, reaching depths of over 60 meters. The combined length of these piles exceeds 9 km, while the pile cap incorporates over 45,000 cubic meters of concrete, equivalent to the volume of 6,700 truckloads.
The tower's bud, standing as tall as an 80-story building, is being constructed with 12,000 tonnes of steel, while the 'stem' will require 240,000 cubic meters of concrete, equivalent to 40,000 truckloads.
