Boldyn Networks, a major shared network infrastructure provider, will acquire Cellnex's private networks business unit, including Finnish pioneer EDZCOM. EDZCOM specializes in designing, building, and operating private 4G and 5G networks for industrial clients. This acquisition enhances Boldyn's position in private networks, supporting digital transformations and Industry 4.0 innovation. EDZCOM's experience in over 50 implementations across Europe strengthens Boldyn's neutral host capabilities. The move aligns with the growing demand for private networks for digitalization, offering high-performance wireless connectivity for enterprise automation, robotics, and real-time remote control. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
