Karen Clark & Company (KCC) has released RiskInsight® Version 4.13, a major update to its open loss modeling platform. This version enhances software performance and introduces new applications. Notably, the updated US Hurricane Model included with 4.13 is the only Florida-approved model accounting for climate change impacts and excess litigation in Florida. RiskInsight 4.13 increases speed and efficiency by reducing RAM requirements for analyzing large databases and adds features like LiveEvent Runner and Shareable Interactive Maps. The LiveEvent Runner provides customized real-time claims and loss estimates, while Shareable Interactive Maps enhance visualization of hazard, exposure, and loss details. The update also includes GIS exports, an analysis template for rate filings, and new database fields for renewable energy risk analysis.
