Once your teenage kid gets his driving license, you need to have the “talk” with him. As a parent you need to make him aware of the importance of following traffic rules and regulations. At the same time, he should be taught about the significance of regular car maintenance and repairing. Teenage kids are high on adrenaline and are low on responsibilities. Many of them think that since it is not broken or malfunctioning, there is no need to get the car repaired. But, you cannot let your kid form this concept. You need to tell him why it is wrong and why timely car-servicing matters.

You are already aware about timely car maintenance. Now you need to pass on the same knowledge to your kid. They might be reluctant to learn or might say that they are into it but you need to keep tab and make sure that they are doing it right. You need to tell them that if they don’t get the car fixed as per the schedule and the car manual, the vehicle will start malfunctioning. If possible, share some real-life incidents, which will make it, further clear as to why your kids should get the car fixed from time ...
... to time.

Encourage your kid to visit an authorised car-repairing centre. Explain to them why they should not visit a run of the mill car repairing shop and what might be the future consequences of doing it. You should highlight that an authorised car repairing shop has certified VW specialist Perth mechanics that have in-depth knowledge of the car and have relevant experience in fixing the same. Once your kid sees your point and realise why you are asking him to go for authorised car repairing centre, he will do the needful without asking any unnecessary questions.

A certified VW specialist Perth knows which car parts are original and which ones are fake. Moreover, since you are opting for an authorised store, they will use only original parts. The quality of job done will be at par with the best in the business. The car servicing is not a one-time affair. It is a life long journey. Once your kid gets this part, he will make sure that the car is serviced right on time. Everything depends on how you explain the matter and make your child agree to it. You should get started right away.
