A career in science is mostly associated with lab settings, scientists in white coats, and extensive security. Nevertheless, it can be stated that there are occupations that break the aforementioned stereotype, and at the same time can be considered scientific. One of such occupations is related to the field of computer sciences, which can be considered as a discipline that emerged in the last twenty years. This article will provide an overview of such scientific career as a computer system analyst.

The occurrence of such occupation as a computer system analyst can be contributed to developments in new technologies that occurred in the last two decades. Such technologies were integrated into most life aspects, and thus, creating positions in which such technologies will be developed, maintained, and updated. Nevertheless, it should be stated that with rapid changes in technologies, there is a need for workers in the field of computer sciences to keep up with such technology changes and constantly update their qualifications.
