Are you graduating this year but do not know what alternative of postgraduate program to choose? But variants of degrees which are offered to you by Universities are daunting. Let's have a closer look at some of the most popular postgraduate programs.

Taught program

Taught programs are of the Master's degree origin but in this case more time devoted to learning the material at classroom or at laboratory, at the workshop. Or it could be seminars. All the process is evaluated by the system of exams or course works. Students are quite free in their studies but still they have a strict enough schedule and a plan of obligatory assignments.

There are two variants of certificates that you can get after finishing this level of study. They are Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma.

Research program

At this program you will be given an opportunity to make your own investigation in your field of study making a contribution, or/and invention in your subject. It will require from you a lot of self-direction. But do not be too relax. University will also give you a small work at a project on ...

At this step of your postgraduate studying you can get two variants of degrees. The first one is Master's in Philosophy and the second one is Master's in Research.

Doctoral program

Te time of studying this program starts from three years and can be extended to ten years or even more. It is the most upper-division degree in postgraduate studies. At this level you can get a Doctor of Philosophy. There will be not too much of learning material at classes and seminars, but more of your own research. This dissertation is unique and should be near 70,000-100000 words long.
