Most of us overlook the fact that the passenger in the car seating right next to the driver has an important role to play. You too are accountable for your actions inside the car when it is in motion. How can you assist the driver so that he can drive safely and without any kind of distractions? Today, we are going to discuss on the same.

Roles of a Passenger in the Car
When you are sitting on the front seat, you have a huge responsibility to play.

We are not asking you not to converse with the driver but your conversation should not be a violent one so that the driver gets distracted.
If you are playing music in the car make sure that it is not too loud, otherwise the driver will not be able to concentrate.
Always wear your seat belt when you are sitting in the front seat. If there is a sudden break or a jerk, you will lose control and hit the windscreen just because you are not wearing the seat belt.
Do not drink or smoke inside the car. Avoid doing all these things.
Don’t fall asleep. If the driver finds that the passenger is sleeping, ...
... he too starts to feel sleepy and before you know it he will hit the car against a divider or a wall and a huge accident will take place.
Do not ask the driver to break the speed limit and drive. No matter how late you are getting, you should never encourage the driver to break the speed limit.
Always assist the driver. If he is not sure of the route, you can use the GPS on your phone and find out the route. Assist him by telling him when to take a turn and so on.

If you follow these simple steps, you will become an asset to the driver. Make sure that the driver is a certified one and has done his course from a reliable Blacktown driving school. Nowadays most of the drivers are very sensible and they are well aware of their rights. They tend to make fewer mistakes while driving. At the same time when you act responsibly, the journey will become all the more exciting. Got any questions? Feel free to share your questions in the comments section. We would love to hear from you.
