We loved the playground, with the largest slides and swings that appeared so big for a kid. We would try to convince my mom and, often, my aunt to take a ride with us. When I close my eyes I still hear them sliding along the slope. I'm able to smile when I think of it.That playground has been renovated with a stunning rocket playground. This place isn't for the faint-hearted because children's imaginations could travel wherever they want in the universe. Every time we go this playground, it's the big kids' favorite place. It's a special place for our family since my kids' first trip to this location came with their aunt that accompanied me when I was a kid.
The most recent new additions to the park are it's One Heart Playground. It's a wonderful place for children of all ages to play around until their hearts are satisfied. We were impressed by the range of games on the playground, and the fencing that protects it.
Emerald Park
It's a different North Little Rock park located close to I-40. It's a little less secluded and natural than Burns Park with 135 acres with a walking trail of one mile and four beautiful overlooks of overlook the Arkansas River. It's a great location to go on an outing and connect with the natural world.

Pinnacle Mountain
The state park is located in Roland (about 30 minutes drive away to Little Rock). It's a wonderful place to go to camp, hike and picnicking areas. It's also great to observe wildlife and birds. Two main trails that ascend the mountain and one of them, that runs to the east summit being simpler. The east summit is difficult. If you're not looking to climb an mountain picnic area and nature trails are available in the natural surroundings around the visitor centre and the trailhead for the west summit.
