The Hilton heiress is no stranger to the world of controversy and scandals. Hilton who is a model, singer and an actor (she starred in two reality television series, The Simple Life and Paris Hilton's My New BFF) has had her fair share of scandals.

The latest controversy swirling around the sexy socialite is to do with an ad which she shot for a Brazilian beer company. In the commercial, Hilton can be seen rubbing a can of Devassa beer on her body while standing in the window of an office building as passers-by gawked at her. The ad was pulled off air in Brazil after consumer complaints and objections from Conar, a Brazilian watchdog agency.

In 2003 the hotel heiress who was 19 at that time hit the headlines when an X rated video featuring her with the American socialite Rick Salomon made its way on to the internet. Shortly after the tape was leaked, Rick filed a lawsuit against Paris Hilton for accusing him of exploiting Paris and the company distributing the tape.

Salomon further claimed in his $10 million suit that Hiltons tried to discourage media outlets from playing excerpts of the tape ...
... by saying that Hilton was underage or incapacitated by Rick when the film was shot. However, the events took a bizarre turn when Rick and Hiltons decided to drop all the lawsuits they had against each other and the ownership of the tape was split between them and Paris got entitled to royalties from the tape.

She was photographed with suspicious looking cigarettes by paparazzi on a hotel balcony back in 2004.
