So, the ISO 17024 standard specifies the following key compliance requirements.
Management of impartiality: According to ISO 17024, the certification body is required to "document its structure, policies, as well as ISO 17024 procedures to manage impartiality and to ensure that the certification activities are undertaken impartially." A certification body must "act impartially about its applicants, candidates, and certified persons." This is why accreditation and ISO 17024 compliance are tremendous successes. The certification authority is required to "identify ongoing threats to its objectivity" and to "analyze, document, and eliminate or minimize the potential conflict of interests arising from its certification activities." Examination development: The certification program's assessment tool must be based on a job task analysis (sometimes referred to as an occupational analysis or a role delineation research) that is psychometrically sound. The job-task analysis tasks must be performed with the necessary competencies, and the examination's content must assess if these competencies have been attained. This crucial psychometric condition for a reliable test was met.
Prerequisites: According to ISO 17024, all conditions for taking the certification exam must be in line with the requirements for competence for the tasks determined by the job-task analysis. Therefore, it was essential to show proof of completion of a recognized medical assisting program.
Examination process: To demonstrate that the certification evaluation is impartial, dependable, and legitimate, examination data must be gathered and examined.

Management system: According to ISO 17024, the "certification body shall establish, document, implement, and maintain a management system that is able to support and demonstrate the consistent achievement of the requirements of this International Standard."
