Super Bright Led Flashlight Review

In my opinion I think that the Fenix TK40 is by far one of the best flashlights that I have every owned or used, it is one super bright led flashlight that makes seeing things in the dark really easy! The fact that this torch can light up my whole backyard is really quite spectacular, and from a torch that is only so small.

One of the best things I love about this light is that it uses the standard sized AA batteries. A lot of other led flashlights will use these special sizes of battery. My point here is that you can get a new set of batteries just about anywhere if you buy a Fenix TK40. Any gas station will have spares, so this makes it great for when you are on the road away from home camping.

Also this thing will run continuously for like 5 to 6 days on a new set of batteries, yeah it's true. It also can throw it's beam of light out to 300 meters plus, this is about 950-100feet. The light is also as quoted ...
... from the fenix website as "digitally regulated for constant output". This is a great feature and means the the light will not slowly fad in brightness as would a normal torch.

Other cool things this torch can do is that it has a total of 8 modes of light output or operation. These include the main modes or primary modes and then within each of those power levels you can access the secondary modes. See below.

Main mode: Turbo, 2hrs runtime, 630 lumens

Second mode: Strobe

Main mode: High, 6.8hrs runtime, 277 lumens
Second mode: Fast Flash

Main mode: Medium, 20 hrs runtime, 93 lumens
Second mode: SOS Flash

Main mode: Low, 150 hrs runtime, 13 lumens
Second mode: Slow Flash
