The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts several types of exams for recruitment to various posts in the central government of India. Here are some of the most popular SSC exams:

1.SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL): This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India. It is a graduate-level exam that recruits candidates for various Group B and C posts in different government departments.

3.SSC Junior Engineer (SSC JE) Examination: This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Group B posts in various government departments as Junior Engineers. It is a diploma-level exam that recruits candidates for the post of Junior Engineer in various government organizations.

4.SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Examination: This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Group C and Group D posts as stenographers in various government departments.

5.SSC Constable (GD) Examination: It is a matriculation-level exam. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Group C posts as constables in various central government police forces like CRPF, BSF, CISF, etc.

6.SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (SSC MTS): It is a matriculation-level exam that recruits candidates for various Group C posts such as Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, and others in different government departments.

7.SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Examination: It is a higher secondary level exam that recruits candidates for the posts of Stenographer Grade C and D. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Group C and Group D posts as stenographers in various government departments.

8.SSC Central Police Organization (CPO) Examination: SSC CPO (Central Police Organisation) is a national level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASI) in CISF (Central Industrial Security Force). The exam is conducted in three stages: Paper 1, Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST), and Paper 2

9.SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Examination: The SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Examination is an exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak in various government departments and organizations.
The exam is conducted in two stages:

Paper-I: The Paper-I is a computer-based test that consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The questions are asked from General Hindi and General English subjects.

Paper-II: The Paper-II is a descriptive type test that evaluates the translation skills of the candidate. The test requires the candidate to translate passages from Hindi to English and vice versa.

Apart from these, there are other SSC exams like SSC CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) Examination, SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator) Examination, and SSC Selection Posts Examination, which are conducted for the recruitment of candidates in different posts and departments of the central government.
