Inside Goojara - Focus Features released Vasilis Katsoupis' feature film debut at the Berlin Film Festival in February 2023. Katsoupis takes a risk and creates a compelling drama about an art thief trapped in a luxurious New York flat that could be an art gallery with screenwriter Ben Hopkins. Nemo and his team are searching for a $3 million Egon Schiele self-portrait in the flat.

When an IT error traps Nemo behind doors, his simple job becomes a fight for survival. His accomplices left him with no escape. Panicked, he tries everything. He screams for help, bangs on doors and checks security camera footage for life. When a cleaning lady or security guard passes, they ignore you. Months pass and Nemo must survive on his wits.

Nemo's flat becomes a fortress where he discovers the truth about what he needs to survive and finds his own will to live, all connected to art and surreal circumstances. 'Inside' succeeds because its elements seem to interact. Frederik Van de Moortel's score matches the apartment's elegance and simplicity. CCTV surveillance channels on Nemo's huge flat screen TV reflect the artworks. As his beard grows and the weather changes, Nemo develops a one-sided relationship with the CCTV-watched staff.
