Day 1: Ahmedabad
Begin your first day in Gujarat by exploring the city of Ahmedabad. Start your day by visiting the Sabarmati Ashram, which was the residence of Mahatma Gandhi during India's freedom struggle. Day 3: Gir National Park
On the final day of your trip, head to Gir National Park, which is home to the majestic Asiatic lions. The park is a conservation success story, as the population of lions has increased from just 20 in the early 20th century to over 500 today.
Take a safari tour of the park and spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife. The park is also home to a variety of bird species, so be sure to bring your binoculars and camera.
Visit the Kamleshwar Dam, which offers stunning views of the park and is a popular spot for birdwatching. The dam is also a great place to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch.
