To be considered for MBA programmes at institutions across the country and abroad, candidates must pass the Common Admission Examination, or CAT exam, a management aptitude test. Every year, approximately two lakh people apply for the test. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and non-MCQs from the Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability sections comprise the CAT exam pattern content. Aside from MBA courses learnt with the help of best home tutors for CAT preparation, the CAT score can be used to gain admission to Executive MBA, Ph.D., and FPM programs.

Exam preparation tips
To pass the CAT exam pattern, a distinct set of strategies is required. They are as follows:

Observe the guidelines
When you enter the testing room, the invigilator will assist you in finding your desk and will answer any minor questions you may have. Candidates must arrive at the CAT testing facility prior to the designated reporting time. Candidates must immediately follow the instructions of the invigilator. Rather than disobeying the invigilator's ...
... instructions, it is best to carefully listen to them.

Time management
If you believe a question is difficult and will take a long time to answer, one of the most important CAT exam pattern tips is to move on to the next question. During the CAT exams, time will be of the essence, and every mistake will push you further away from your goal.

According to the test design, candidates will only have 40 minutes in each section of the CAT exam to complete both MCQs and TITA questions before the next section appears on the screen. One of the ten most important things to understand before taking the CAT 2023 exam is that candidates must keep this in mind as they answer the questions. If a question appears to take you longer than usual to answer, move on to the next one without pausing and try the questions that are simple and quick to complete.
