It is said that once an European scientist saw a kangaroo and asked a civilian about the animal. The civilian in his local language replied KANGAROO which meant I DON’T KNOW THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION. The European scientist felt that Kangaroo is the name of that animal and since then that animal is called as KANGAROO.
